There were only few lesser Androsaurs’ attacks for one week since Sid became Stegoorange. Several times Sid challenged Eric and friends to fight him, and several times they win against him too. On the other hand, Winnie also seemed more open to everyone except Petra, who rarely interacted with her because he was busy with his work and became awkward when talking with her. Several times he saw Winnie casually joking around with Dan while he still had to work with his computer. That made him think more and more, will one day Dan snatch Winnie from him?

That day Sir Owen came from school with Eric, Alvin, and Grace. Sir Owen bought them all pizza for that day.

​

“Good work everyone, you guys just got stronger. I hope with this we can realize our goals,” Sir Owen said while lowering the pizza boxes.

​

Everyone seemed tempted by the food in front of them, except Petra who remained in his room to learn more about Genoranger and also the Androsaurs, he then questioned “where these monsters came from” to himself.

​

He then paid attention to his drone recordings. How could Androsaur always appear out of nowhere without no one realizing it? None of the recordings had the answer. He then looked at the battle data of the rangers. Suddenly the door to his room was knocked, shocking Petra.

 

“Yeah, just a minute,” he said, then opened the door and he saw Winnie come in front of him carrying a plate of three slices of pizza.

“Win, what's wrong?” Petra asked.

​

“Don't you hear Eric's call?” Winnie asked, “Sir Owen bought us all pizza. You must have been hungry all day, haven't you eaten yet?” Winnie then tried to glance at the computer. “What are you being busy at?”

​

“Oh ... that ...,” Petra felt awkwardly answering. He did not expect Winnie to care about him. “I'm just curious. All this time you guys fought against Androsaur, but I did not get the slightest clue what they are and where they came from. Maybe I can get a hint, it will definitely help.”

​

“Oh ... But you yourself don't fight,” Winnie answered.

​

Petra then took the plate in Winnie's hands while answering, “Actually I really want to, but because only I among us who understand IT the most, like it or not I have to stay here to monitor and keep an eye on you guys.”

​

“All right,” Winnie said dryly, then went away.

​

Petra was silent, he was happy, but at the same time was surprised, why Winnie was so uninterested with him in the conversation? But never mind, just looking at her face he was back excited to continue his research.

Meanwhile in the living room, Winnie was greeted by Dan who grinned, “How is it, feelin good right?”

​

Hearing that, Winnie became as flustered as she could be, then slapped Dan in frustration, “You... I have nothing to do with that idiot with glasses!”

​

Dan blocked the slap and said, “Why are you not bein honest?”

​

Grace who saw them could only shake her heads, “Idiots.”

​

In his room Petra was busy again with his computer, the laptop beside him controlled the sixteen drones that flew around Natales. He was running Stegoorange’s simulation when his cellphone rang. He then took the cellphone and saw on the screen that read “Theresia”.

​

“Sis… Why is she calling?” Petra muttered in his heart.

​

He then answered the call.

​

“Sis?” Petra asked.

​

“Petra?” his sister replied, “How are you?”

​

“Fine sis.”

 

“I sent your allowance for this month, ok. Don’t spend it carelessly.”

 

Petra smiled weakly at Theresia’s words, but he also felt uncertain and finally remained silent for a long time. Petra's silence bothered Theresia.

 

“Petra?” asked his sister.

 

Petra broke from his silence and answered wearily, “Oh, yes sis. Thank you.”

 

Theresia felt something was off with the way her younger brother answered. Petra never lost his jovial nature, even after the death of their mother which was preceded by their father. But this talk was quite different.

 

“Petra, what's wrong?” Theresia asked, “You sound a bit different.”

 

Hearing that, Petra replied promptly, “Nothing.”

 

Theresia's intuition that cared for him for a long time couldn't be fooled.

 

“Petra, you're not hiding something, are you?” Theresia asked.

 

“Damn, she caught me,” Petra thought, he answered. “Nothing, sis.”

 

Theresia heard Petra's tone that she used to hear when Petra lied.

 

“Petra, sis don’t like it when you hide something from me. What's wrong, Petra? Just say it,” urged Theresia.

 

Petra went silent, it seemed he must reveal what he had hid for three months. After a while, he sighed.

 

“Sis, starting next month you don't need to transfer allowance again, and for this month’s... I'll return it tomorrow,” Petra said.

 

Theresia was surprised to hear an answer she never expected. Is there anyone who refuses money given from people they know?

 

“Petra, why!?”

 

“Actually sis... I quit college three months ago and chose to work right away. Incidentally in Natales there is someone who wanted to hire me with a decent salary. “

He put the data into the simulation, he thought about his older sister’s advice. His eyes closed for a moment, he then entered Paralila’s data to fight some Androfutters...

“It's very difficult to be you, Petra Sthozzen,” said someone behind him.

​

Petra turned his chair in surprise, staring at the dark shadow behind the room. How could there be anyone besides him in this room, let alone the voice that he didn't know yet knew his name.

​

“Who’s there!?”

​

From that dark shadow a hand outstretched, “I am he, he who gives them the power to change. Anyone can change, even you.”

​

“Who are you!? What do you want!?” said Petra, who was groping at the bottom of his chair while leaning away in fear.

​

A pair of red eyes glowed from the darkness, the figure advanced slowly, until finally a strange young man in a red shirt was visible, his mouth locked in an insincere smile. The young man sent shiver down Petra’s spine, but he could only be frozen still. Petra backed away when the young man approached, until finally the young man’s face was close to his face.

​

“You should be honest with what you want,” said the young man.

​

Petra's expression turned nervous, “Who... Who are you!?”

​

The young man backed away and said, “My name is Anka, I gave the power of Genoranger to Winnie Guan.”

​

Petra was surprised to hear that answer. Will Anka give him ranger powers like Winnie and the others? Now his fears were reduced a little, replaced by an overwhelming desire to dollow the woman who seemed to had a feeling to him as a ranger. He really hoped to get that power too.

​

“Wh... What do you mean?” Petra asked with a false awkwardness as if he did not know Anka's motive.

​

“You should be honest with what you want,” Anka seemed to know what that nineteen-year-old man thought, “Admit it, you resented Daniel Galilei, don't you?”

​

Petra fell silent. He was well aware, he often stayed in the room just to monitor them, with jealousy because he was eager to get the opportunity to spend more time with Winnie. It was clear that Winnie was closer to Dan than he was, because it was true that Winnie interacted more with Dan.

​

Anka knew very well that Petra wanted to say “Yes”, but Petra had kept too many things that were very private. Anka smiled, even though Petra was suspicious, he would not refuse his offer.

​

“I have something for you,” Anka said, handing over a blue DNA Key and a Genophone to Petra. Petra just stared at those two objects in confusion and excitement, then looked back at Anka.

​

“This…?” Petra asked in surprise. He knew very well that he could use it to turn into a Genoranger, and it was clear Anka gave that power to him.

​

“Now you don't need to be jealous of Dan anymore,” Anka said.

​

Petra nodded, he took those two objects. For some reason, Anka's words made sense to him.

​

“The power you have is special. Dan, even all of them, don't have what you have.”

​

Anka then turned away and left Petra, who was somewhat confused by Anka's words. Well whatever. It seems things would be interesting for him.

Petra raised his head and opened his eyes. Paralila's simulation against Androfutter was still going. He was disappointed, it turned out that it was only a dream. He took a slice of pizza, then opened a drawer to get something. How surprised he was when he saw a blue DNA Key and a Genophone inside that drawer.

That evening Petra showed the Genophone and DNA Key he got to Eric, Alvin, Dan, Winnie, and Grace.

​

“What!? Ya got DNA Key!?” Alvin asked, surprised at the blue DNA Key in Petra's hand.

​

“Yes. I'm still curious about this thing. If I may, I want to join you guys in the next battle,” Petra volunteered.

​

The rangers looked at each other. Alvin, Dan, Eric, and Grace did not mind. Alvin felt that Petra had no reason not to participate, after all there was Sir Owen who made and certainly could use the computer’s system. Whereas Winnie felt rather reluctant. Dan nudged Winnie with his elbow while making a teasing expression. Winnie glanced at Dan with uncomfortable look.

“I don't mind, four eyes. As long as ya really help,” Alvin agreed in haughty tone.

​

“By the way, what power did you get?” Grace asked, pointing to the DNA Key Petra was holding.

​

“I don’t know. That’s why I want to try in the next fight,” answered Petra.

​

Eric went forward and asked, “Why don't you just try it now, Senior Petra? We will know right away if you use it.”

​

Petra replied, “I can't go far from the computer’s system. If I use it to change inside, I'm afraid the energy I release when using this power will do damage.”

​

Eric understood, he nodded. Suddenly Sir Owen entered from the back room and looked at them seriously. Looks like he heard about it all.

​

“No, Petra. You take care of the system here,” Sir Owen said.

​

Sir Owen's words surprised Petra and the others. Petra did not expect Sir Owen to be against his wish to be a Genoranger.

​

“Why? Is Sir Owen afraid that no one will be watching our data and surveillance so far?” Petra wondered. Sir Owen nodded.

​

“Shit doesn't make sense,” Alvin thought. He stepped forward and asked, “Sir, if you really introduced Petra to the program, shouldn't you also be able to take over da system? What do you do when we are fighting?”

​

Petra remembered something. When fighting, Sir Owen always disappeared to God knows where. Petra thought, there must be something amiss about Genoranger, and certainly Sir Owen had something to hide if he objected him to being a Genoranger.

​

“Sir Owen, why? If they can, then why can't I? Sir Owen, it's better to be honest! “ Petra said urging Sir Owen to reveal his secret.

​

But Sir Owen did not budge, the question of that man with glasses was ignored. Instead of heeding to Petra's questions, he instead left them into the back room. Petra who was not satisfied ran to follow Sir Owen. All members of the Genoranger who saw that were confused and looked at each other.

​

“What's wrong with Petra, how come he can't be Genoranger?” Dan asked in confusion.

​

“I have no idea. But it seems like Brother Petra wants to get that power and fight with us,” Eric answered.

​

Petra followed Sir Owen upstairs and immediately asked, “What's wrong, Sir Owen? Why don't you allow me be a Genoranger like them? I could help, and Sir Owen could do the subterfuge while I am gone! That young man said I have something they don't have, so why!?”

​

Sir Owen sighed, he was tired of covering up the secret, “Well, if you insist, Petra. Promise me something.”

​

Petra said yes. Meanwhile below, five Genophones simultaneously beeped.

​

“Only one near the southeastern urban forest,” Eric said.

​

“C’mon,” said Alvin, who hurried away.

​

The five of them went to the location. The night was late and quiet, there was no one there.

“Genochange!” Eric said before turning into Tyrannorot.

​

“Oi kiddo,” Alvin who had changed called Eric.

​

“What it is, Senior Alvin?” Eric asked.

​

“No need ta say 'Genochange' before changing k? It’s cringe.”

​

“Well, it’s alright Vin, let him be,” Dan said.

​

“Ya wanna take care of him if he gets beaten up before he can change?” Alvin replied, rather annoyed.

​

They entered the forest. But strangely, no Androsaur was seen, even though there was still a signal from the Genophone.

​

Suddenly there was a movement beside them. Winnie then shot there, but her shot was blocked by something. The figure came out and they were rather relieved because it was Sid in the form of Stegoorange.

​

“Oi girl, you quite trigger-happy, ain’t cha?” Sid grumbled.

​

“So… Sorry, Mr. Sid,” Winnie said.

​

“So, where's the Androsaur?”

​

They looked around. There are no signs of Androsaur. Suddenly something very quickly bolted towards Dan and grabbed his shoulder. The attack made Dan fell, all eyes of his colleague fixed on him.

​

“Dan, ya alright!?” Alvin asked.

​

“Something's attacked me!” Dan said, suddenly Eric was attacked from behind.

 

“Kiddo!” Alvin was hit by an attack on his head. Sid saw the monster went deeper into the forest.

 

“Damned monster! Show yourself!” Sid shouted and ran inside of the forest.

 

“Oi, old man!” called Alvin, “Go after him!”

 

“Be careful, guys! We don know what's behind these trees!” Dan said.

 

Eric, Winnie and Grace nodded. They ran after Sid, and in front of them suddenly Sid fell and something stepped on him with big claws. They also saw the Androsaur. Ornimegalonyx Androsaur, an owl Androsaur that was able to fly. The monster saw them and suddenly disappeared from their sight, the monster attacked Alvin silently.

 

Grace, Dan, Winnie and Eric pulled out their weapons, but dark clouds blocked the moon and blinded them. Eric swung Rexcalibur aimlessly, but his attack continued to miss. Grace, who was the fastest among them, was unable to hit Ornimegalonyx, let alone the slower attacks of Dan, Winnie, Sid and Alvin. The six rangers haplessly became the monster's punching bag.

 

“Fuck, I don't know there’re monsters that can fuckin fly!” Alvin said.

 

Dan then rose to help Winnie, but his efforts failed and he was beaten instead. The monster continued to fly and swoop. Before Winnie had reached Pleskuglen, the monster swooped down after attacking Sid and reaching for the pink Genoranger again. None of them could stop the monster.

 

Meanwhile Petra stayed in the room sluggishly. He could not believe that Sir Owen could hide such important secret from them. Petra could only silently watch as the six Genorangers had difficulty fighting Ornimegalonyx, but then he saw Winnie detransformed. He then gathered his will and faced Sir Owen who was drinking tea in the living room.

 

“Sir Owen, I have something to ask from you,” Petra said steadily and firmly.

 

“Petra ...”

 

Back in the forest, Alvin, Dan, Eric, and Grace tried to protect Winnie from Ornimegalonyx attacks, while Sid continued to try to attack the monster with Stegorati without landing any meaningful attack.

 

“Hey old man, back off! You’ll fuckin die!” Alvin ordered.

 

Ornimegalonyx then grabbed them one by one and was about to attack Winnie. Winnie closed her eyes, she heard the sound of something crashing into the ground. She opened her eyes, the monster curled on the ground, blood spurting from the wound on its left wing.

“Up there!” said Eric, pointing.

​

Beneath the shadow of the moon they saw a winged Genoranger. His hands were pulling his bow and releasing arrows that flew like comets quickly landing at Ornimegalonyx’s foot. He was Pterablau, a Genoranger who as endowed with special powers to thread in the vast sky.

​

“Genoranger ... fly?” Winnie asked in amazement.

​

“I didn’t know that there is Genoranger like that,” Eric said incredulously.

​

Pterablau shot two more arrows at the Androsaur, hitting its right wing and head, seemingly killing the monster. The Genoranger flew low and stopped his ranger transformation.

​

“Sorry to keep you waiting,” Petra said.

 

“Petra!?” the six of them were surprised.

 

“Didn't Sir Owen forbid ya to become Genoranger?” Alvin asked.

 

“Well, I can't just stand to watch you get beaten like this. What a coincidence that I can fly like that monster,” answered Petra.

 

“Wow cool!” said Winnie excitedly.

 

Petra was happy to hear Winnie's words. But the Androsaur woke up and tried to run away.

 

“Oi, four eyes,” Alvin called, “Next time, don't change in da middle of da fight.”

 

“Yeah, sorry,” said Petra, who took his DNA Key.

 

“PTERABLAU.”

 

Following that voice, Petra changed to Pterablau. Ornimegalonyx flew again, trying to escape from Petra.

 

“I won't let you escape!” Petra said, chasing it.

 

“FAILNODON.”

 

Petra grabbed the bow and shot Ornimegalonyx. Those below could only look at the two of them maneuvering in the air.

“Win, transform, get ready to call Stahlsaurer,” Alvin said, “Old man, ya okay? Your wound is fuckin bad.”

​

“I won't die because of this, boy,” Sid replied.

​

“Alright, Vin,” said Winnie, who took her DNA Key and turned into Plesiorosa.

​

Ornimegalonyx dived, Pterablau hovering. Petra has landed ten arrows, this monster would sooner or later ran out of steam. Petra flew up, aimed at the back of the monster's neck and fired. The arrow was right on target, Ornimegalonyx did not even know that it was dead before its head was smashed into the earth.

​

“Nicely done!” Eric shouted.

​

“Not now, kiddo. Round two,” Alvin said.

​

Ornimegalonyx became a giant and flew up to the sky toward Petra. Petra then called his Stahlsaurer, Pteranodon and avoided the Androsaur attack. The monster took a sharp turn and turned towards Pteranodon. Pteranodon shot him with laser attack, they chased after each other. Below them, the other rangers were waiting for the monster to fall.

​

Petra then did something dangerous. He slowed down the Pteranodon and lifted it up, Ornimegalonyx shot away. Petra then fired on Androsaur's right wing, blood raining down on the offices below them.

​

“He can't fly anymore,” Petra said, “You can finish him down!”

​

Ornimegalonyx could not fly any longer, but the monster turned around and with its long legs struck Pteranodon. The Stahlsaurer then fell with Ornimegalonyx.

​

“Brother Petra, are you alright!?” Eric called from Tyrannosaurus Rex’s cockpit.

​

“I’m alright! You better kill that monster Eric!” Petra replied.

​

Eric then transformed Tyrannosaurus to Saurierjaeger, then combined with Parasaurolophus and Stegosaurus to become Saurierjaeger Schleifer Schneider. All of them, except Petra, who was trying to lift Pteranodon back into the air, attacked the monster together. But it turned out Ornimegalonyx was quite fast and strong even on land. Eric and his friends found it difficult to incapacitate it, Ornimegalonyx even had succeeded in separating Stegosaurus and Parasaurolophus from Saurierjaeger.

​

Eric then thought, “At a time like this, that person must be...”

​

“Yo,” Anka called from the hologram screen.

​

“Senior Anka, it feels like this will become a habit,” Eric said.

​

Anka laughed, a laugh that wasn't so sincere, “Don't worry about that.”

​

“What would Senior Anka like to tell today? Don't tell me Tyrannosaurus can be a giant robot,” Eric jested.

​

“Of course not,” Anka replied.

​

“Ah, as expected.”

​

“Not by itself.”

​

“Eh?” Eric's face looked shocked.

​

“Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Velociraptor, Pteranodon, and Plesiosaurus. All five will form a special combination that is far stronger than Saurierjaeger. Go and try.”

​

“Kiddo,” Alvin called, “I didn't hear wrong, right?”

​

“I don't believe it, but let’s try!” Grace suggested.

​

On Eric, Alvin, Grace, Petra, and Winnie’s screen was written Aufsteigen - Saurierkaiser. They then pressed it at the same time.

​

Sid and Dan did not believe what they see. The five of them formed a giant robot. Tyrannosaurus became the body, Triceratops formed the legs, Velociraptor and Plesiosaur became the right and left hands, and finally Pteranodon formed the head. Rexcalibur was held by Saurierkaiser's right hand. All of their cockpits shifted to Eric's side.

“I have to do it ...,” Eric said, he then shouted. “Lang lebe, SAURIERKAISER!”

​

“Oh God,” Alvin cringed.

​

“Tch, the kids always get the good stuff,” Sid said.

​

“Well, let's just support them, old man,” Dan replied.

​

Saurierkaiser advanced towards Ornimegalonyx which was occupied by Parasaurolophus and Stegosaurus. It’s a bit difficult to balance this big robot, they thought. Left, right, left, right. Saurierkaiser's right hand fended off Ornimegalonyx's attack with Rexcalibur, while its left hand punched. The Androsaur staggered, and Saurierkaiser swung Rexcalibur freely.

 

“Final attack!” Eric shouted.

​

Saurierkaiser then finished the battle by splitting the monster into two.

​

After that Petra returned with Eric, Alvin, Grace, and Winnie to headquarters. Sir Owen was reading a biology book in the living room. Sir Owen seemed speechless, hiding his worries by forcing a smile.

​

“Where is Dan?” Sir Owen asked.

​

“He has returned to his home,” Petra said.

​

“What about Sid?” Sir Owen asked.

​

“Uncle Sid wants to fight against Grace, but because the night is too late, he go home,” Eric answered.

​

“I swear, that dude like to fight too much,” Alvin commented.

​

“Come on, Winnie, I'll treat your wound,” Grace said.

​

“Yes, thank you, Grace,” Winnie said.

​

Eric looked at Sir Owen, who refused to look into their eyes and chose to read his book.

 

“What's wrong with Sir Owen? Does he look different, or it is just my feeling?” Eric thought in confusion.
